From our very first planning sessions for Hilltop Academy, it was our primary intention to make our school accessible to all who are interested in attending, especially making it accessible for those who might otherwise not have the means or opportunity to have a private school experience.
At the bottom of every page of our website, you will notice that we emphatically stand by and make it our mission to guard and protect the unique individuality of our Hilltop Community- those we serve and lead and those who lead and serve because it is what we honor and value.
We set out to build a school that ensures that all who attend know their inherent value and worth through the culture and climate we create and the systems, programs, and practices we implement.
Just as we are intentional with our student enrollment, Hilltop Academy is deliberate with recruitment and hiring practices, seeking faculty and staff who mirror our learners and see their infinite potential. Our aim is to create a safe, compassionate, and understanding space for our young people and families unified in efforts to reconcile our past and work together as allies toward building new structures that protect equity and inclusion.
“It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences.”
~Audre Lorde
